Naya Rivera said she and her “Glee” cast mates are still “picking up the pieces” after the death of Cory Monteith earlier this year and the recent tribute episode in his memory.

“It was really difficult to shoot and difficult to watch,” she told “Entertainment Tonight” at Monday’s Elle Women in Hollywood event.

On a lighter note, Rivera went on to tease the “fun costumes” in the upcoming homage to Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, and was asked to reflect on the news that the series likely won’t continue after season 6.

“I say all good things must come to an end, and we’ve had a really good run,” said the actress.

Rivera also opened up about her recent engagement to Big Sean.

“Glee” will return from its fall hiatus next month with an episode paying homage to Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

In preview photos released on Tuesday, the cast is seen copying some of the pop stars’ recent looks from “Roar” and “Applause,” respectively.

According to the official FOX synopsis, “The members of New Directions tackle their assignment of getting out of their comfort zones and determining whether they’re more like ‘Katy’ (Perry) or (Lady) ‘Gaga.’”

The episode, titled “A Katy or A Gaga,” also marks Adam Lambert’s debut on the show.

It’s slated to air on November 7.

It’s Official: Glee Ending After Season 6

Truth rating: 10

10:40 am, October 17th, 2013

(FOX)

It’s official: “Glee” will end after its sixth season.

The show’s creator Ryan Murphy discussed the series’ conclusion at an event honoring FX Networks on Wednesday, and revealed that Cory Monteith’s death has altered the planned endgame.

He is quoted as telling reporters, “The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around [Lea Michele’s character] Rachel and [Monteith’s character] Finn’s story. I always knew that. I always knew how it would end.”

“I knew what the last shot was, [Finn] was in it. I knew what the last line was — she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens, you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we’re figuring it out.”

Murphy said he has a “good idea” of how the show will end now, and that it’s “kind of in [Monteith’s] honor, which I love.”
