Nick Carter opened up about his battle with drug addiction on “Dr. Phil” this week, and confessed that his family blamed him for the loss of his sister, Leslie, who died last year of an overdose.

As Gossip Cop reported, the Backstreet Boys member didn’t attend his younger sibling’s funeral, saying at the time, “I wanted to be at my sister’s funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic.”

Now he revealed to Dr. Phil exactly what happened.

“I actually got the phone call from my father that she had passed. Immediately the conversation turned into not about her death and not about the actual passing and what had occurred, [but] more about themselves,” he explained.

The singer continued, “And then I started to get blamed by the rest of the family — I have a large family and they all went there — and they were blaming me for the death.”

Interestingly, Carter admitted he holds himself partially responsible.

Dr. Phil Under Fire for Controversial Drunk Sex Tweet

Truth rating: 10

12:05 pm, August 21st, 2013

Dr. Phil is under fire for a questionable tweet sent — and then deleted — from his Twitter account on Tuesday.

“If a girl is drunk, is it okay to have sex with her? Reply yes or no to @drphil #teensaccused” read the controversial message (see screengrab below).

Not surprisingly, the tweet quickly spawned a backlash for its insensitive wording and lack of explanation.

It was deleted a short time after.

That hasn’t stopped the outrage, however, and now a spokesman for the TV personality is defending the question as being an innocent query meant to gather information for the “Dr. Phil” talk show.

“This Tweet was intended to evoke discussion leading into a very serious show topic. It was not intended to be taken lightly,” says the rep.

A Change.org petition for Dr. Phil himself to release a formal apology for seemingly reducing rape to a simple “yes/no” issue has amassed nearly 800 signatures.

Perhaps Dr. Phil should leave the tweeting to his wife.

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo Does “Lennay Kekua” Voice He Used To Trick Manti Te’o (VIDEO)

(Dr. Phil)

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the man behind the surreal Manti Te’o hoax, performed his “Lennay Kekua” voice for “Dr. Phil” on Friday’s show, reading transcripts of the voicemails he left in character as the Notre Dame football star’s completely fake girlfriend.

It’s… creepy.

In order to do “the voice,” Tuiasosopo had to go behind a curtain for the privacy he needed to adopt the “Kekua” character.

Check out the video below and let us know — would you have been fooled?
