TV Ratings: ‘Rake’ Sinks on Friday, ‘Undercover Boss’ Wraps Season Solid

Both CBS and ABC saw preemptions on Friday night, with NCAA basketball airing on some CBS affiliates and ABC seeing college and high school sports interrupt several markets as well.

That said, ABC's demo win is secure thanks to Shark Tank and 20/20, both of which scored a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 after an even Neighbors (0.9 adults). Shark Tank fell two-tenths from the prior week, while 20/20 was improved by a tenth, giving the network an average 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 -- and 6.3 million viewers -- for the night.

Undercover Boss finished its season on CBS, down a tenth of a point to a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49. Hawaii Five-0 (1.4 adults) held even, and Blue Bloods (1.5 adults) improved by a tenth. CBS took a 1.4 demo rating and 9.7 million viewers for the night.

Dateline (1.2 adults) may have been down two-tenths on NBC, but both Grimm (1.6 adults) and Hannibal (0.9 adults) improved by a tenth. NBC took a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.98 million viewers.

Fox's Friday move for Rake did nothing to help the struggling freshman. Rake averaged a 0.5 rating with adults 18-49, off five-tenths of a point from its last Thursday episode. Enlisted (0.6 adults) fell a tenth of a point with the new lead-in, and now-cancelled Raising Hope (0.5 adults) held last week's score. Fox brought in a 0.5 rating with adults 18-49 and 1.7 million viewers.
