What is Jenna going to do?
The summer finale of MTV's quirky comedy Awkward ended with Collin (Nolan Funk) revealing his true feelings for Jenna (Ashley Rickards), causing tensions to rise between Jenna and Matty (Beau Mirchoff) — leaving viewers wondering what's next for the Palos Hills High junior.
Following Tuesday's summer closer, MTV released a trailer teasing what's coming for the back half of Awkward's supersized season — and it's a doozy: Jenna has a new look, she and Collin are starting a new relationship, Sadie's in on Jenna's affairs, Jenna's getting into semi-trouble with the law (thanks Collin!) and her friends aren't too keen on Jenna's new direction.
Awkward has been heading into a darker, more serious territory this season and the two-minute trailer depicts the shift in tone; it certainly makes sense as Jenna continues her journey of self-discovery. Watch the trailer below:
