Kristen Stewart is “livid” over Robert Pattinson’s friendship with Bel Ami co-star Uma Thurman, according to Star magazine.

“When the cheating scandal broke, Uma supported Rob,” explains a so-called “source” for the tabloid, adding, “They’ve grown incredibly close, and Kristen is superjealous of their connection.”

Star admits that Thurman probably has no intention of leaving her boyfriend Arpad Busson, with whom she just welcomed a baby girl in July.

The mag’s insider says, “Uma views Rob likes a baby brother.”

But even though there’s obviously no reason whatsoever for bad feelings between Stewart and Thurman, a desperate Star forces the issue, pointing out that Pattinson “showed his devotion to Uma” at the recent ELLE Women in Hollywood gala.

“Maybe Kristen should keep an eye on her man,” warns the tabloid.

The Star source explains, “If Rob weren’t so tied up with Kristen and if Uma were single, he’d go for her in a heartbeat. Uma is Rob’s secret dream woman.”

Wow.

The gymnastics Star has to perform here to contort and twist Pattinson’s friendship with Thurman into some kind of scandal is worthy of the Olympics.

Star can’t even get its “sources” to say there’s something romantic between the Bel Ami co-stars, so the tab is forced to speculate about Stewart’s supposed rage over the friendship… even though Pattinson’s affections for Thurman are allegedly “secret.”

It’s straight out of the old gossip playbook in which any female in Pattinson’s vicinity is immediately linked to him in a sensationalized way.

There’s absolutely NO tiff or jealousy between Stewart and Thurman, a source close to the situation assures Gossip Cop, describing Star’s story as “laughable.”
