The boyish, charismatic British crooner, who performed onstage as recently as Feb. 19 in Oklahoma, is survived by his wife, Jessica, and four daughters from previous marriages.

Jones became a music and TV star in the mid-60s when he joined the eponymous band, at first assembled for a hit TV show. One of the band's classic hits? "Daydream Believer." The Monkees and their hits enjoyed a renaissance when MTV re-ran the show in the late 1980s.
