Rachel Bilson is NOT shunning her former “O.C.” co-star Mischa Barton, despite a FALSE report from RadarOnline.

On Thursday, the webloid claimed Bilson is somehow trying to block Barton’s comeback attempt in Hollywood.

The blog alleged that Bilson and her fellows “O.C.” alums are “upset” with Barton “because of her mercurial behavior on the set; and the tarnish they believe she left on their careers with her professional missteps.”

A so-called “insider” told the site Bilson “is the one who basically made it be known that it’s okay for everybody to wash their hands of Mischa and not forgive her past transgressions.”

“It’s really sad because [Mischa’s] literally trying to set up dinners to make amends and Rachel is telling everybody to ‘ignore her and she’ll go away,’” added the supposed “source.”

But the blog’s report is completely made up.

A rep for Bilson tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “The RadarOnline ‘story’ is a complete fabrication. There simply is no truth to it at all.”

The star’s spokesperson adds, “No one from RadarOnline checked in with Rachel or us for validity or comments. Rachel has no ill will towards Mischa – she has and will continue to wish her well.”

Rachel Bilson Slams Bling Ring, Confesses Rapper Dream & Calls Herself “Dumb A**”

Truth rating: 10

(Cosmopolitan)

Rachel Bilson opens up to British Cosmopolitan about her missteps and dreams for an August cover story.

“If I could karaoke duet with anyone, it would be Eminem,” says the Hart of Dixie actress, who rapped in a Funny or Die video last year. “I secretly want to be a rapper.”

She is less than thrilled with The Bling Ring, the new movie that dramatizes the real-life burglaries that victimized celebrities including Bilson a few years ago.

“I thought it was weird to glorify something that was so upsetting for a lot of people,” explains Bilson. “It’s important to detach from material things, but the special, personal things I lost are hard to forget.”

The star admits to not really having perspective when she broke through a decade ago.

Bilson says, “I didn’t have any idea how much The O.C. would change my life. I thought I knew everything, but now I look back and think, ‘You were a dumb a**! What was your problem?’”
