“The guest list to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s upcoming wedding just got shorter by three,” claims the National Enquirer, which reports that Jolie said “no way” to Pitt’s pals Quentin Tarantino, Jonah Hill, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Why?

A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, ”Angie wants her wedding to be perfect, and that applies to the guest list as much as anything else. She respects Brad’s right to be friends with whoever he wants, but there’s no way she’s allowing any of these guys to attend their wedding.”

According to the Enquirer source, “The official line she’s giving is that this is an ‘intimate celebration for only the closest friends and family.’ But the brutal truth is that she considers these three to be bad influences on Brad.”

Wait, so Pitt is allowed to hang out with these alleged “bad influences” as much as he wants… but they can’t come to the wedding?

That’s some classic Enquirer logic.

The tabloid explains that there won’t actually be a fight between Pitt and Jolie over her supposed ban on Tarantino, Hill, and Hoffman.

“Brad’s not willing to upset her considering everything she’s been through lately,” says the mag’s insider. “He worships Angie and wants this day to be perfect for her and the kids. That means she gets her way on everything, including the guest list.”

The Enquirer, which has spent recent months making absurd allegations about Jolie partying with men behind Pitt’s back and inventing fake health scares for the actress even as she dealt with a real one, has repeatedly demonstrated that its sources are clueless about the couple.

Point in case: The magazine previously — and wrongly — reported that Pitt and Jolie were going to get married in Russia.

In the new report, the nuptials will supposedly happen in September in France.

And we’re supposed to believe that the Enquirer has intimate knowledge of the guest list?

The outlet has long been fabricating wars between Jolie and Pitt’s friends — and it’s been completely false.

So is this story.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the alleged wedding guest “ban” is “1oo percent inaccurate.”
