The Transformers director abruptly stopped talking after the teleprompter seemingly malfunctioned, and then said he would just “wing it.”

But moments later, Bay threw his hands up, said, “I’m sorry,” and left the stage.

Afterwards, Bay addressed the incident on his website, writing, “Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES… I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP’s intro line and then the teleprompter got lost.”

“I guess live shows aren’t my thing,” added the director.

The years-long feud between Megan Fox and Transformers director Michael Bay is officially over.

The filmmaker announced on his blog Thursday night that the actress will star in his highly-antipcipcated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot.

“TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!” wrote Bay.

In 2010, Fox was dropped from the third Transformers installment after a falling-out with Bay, with both parties hurling accusations.

The following year, Bay and franchise star Shia LaBeouf opened up to GQ about Fox’s controversial exit, with the actor saying she had crossed the line by “sh*t-talking our captain.”

Among Fox’s more controversial comments was comparing the director to Hitler.

But that all seems to be water under the bridge now.

TMNT will be Fox’s first film project since welcoming son Noah last September.
