John Mayer was spotted behind the wheel of his Land Rover Defender outside a restaurant in Los Angeles this past weekend. The last time we saw Mayer in his Defender was back in 2008 so we’re happy to know it’s still in his garage. The Defender is definitely something to hang onto.

John Mayer is the proud new owner of an EarthRoamer. Yes, you read that correct, an EarthRoamer. What the heck is an EarthRoamer you ask? An EarthRoamer is a four wheel drive, go anywhere motor-home, “Xpedition Vehicle” designed, engineered and constructed out of Colorado. Otherwise known as a badass Ford truck with a camper, and a huge price tag.
There are a couple pre-owned vehicles listed on their site but Mayer’s was a custom build that started a year ago. Considering the pre-owned XV’s are running around $350,000 we’re guessing Mayer’s probably set him back a good $500,000 plus.

Katy Perry and John Mayer opened up about their relationship and their “Who You Love” duet on Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Asked whether their music video was a response to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s “Bound 2” video, Perry joked, “I thought our response was a little bit more authentic because my hair was blowing in the right direction.”

Mayer made a face as if shade had just been thrown.
Perry went on to talk about the pair’s relationship, saying, “We have a lot of fun. You know, we have music as an understanding and love between each other and we connect and you know its like he understands what I do because he does the same thing.”
The couple then debuted their latest music video — from the ’70s.
