Madonna is NOT “obsessed” with Zac Efron, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the National Enquirer, Madonna has allegedly become infatuated with Efron after sitting ringside with him at a recent UFC fight in New York City. A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “She is obsessed with him and has been texting him constantly. The pair took a lot of selfies together, but neither Madonna or Zac posted any of them on their social media accounts.” “She thinks she’s being super secretive,” contends the magazine’s dubious insider, adding, “but everyone at Madison Square Garden saw them flirting!”
Let Gossip Cop set the record straight. While it’s true Madonna and Efron hung out at the UFC fight, a source close to the singer exclusively assures us that the story is “not true,” and that she was really there with her manager, Guy Oseary.
Sadly, we’re not surprised by the Enquirer’s seemingly made-up report. In July, Gossip Cop debunked the supermarket tabloid for falsely alleging Madonna was rejected for James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke.” And shortly before that tall tale, we called out the magazine for wrongly claiming the singer was getting back together with Sean Penn. Much like those bogus stories, this latest claim is equally untrue.
