Hillary Clinton was named the “Most Fascinating Person” of 2013 by Barbara Walters on Wednesday.

The veteran news journalist revealed her selection at the end of her annual ABC special, “Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013.”

“This program started with the dawn of the Clinton era, and it seems we might be at the start of another,” explained Walters.

Clinton said in the interview that she hasn’t made up her mind on whether to run for president, but believes it’s important for a woman to be in the White House.

Asked what she wants her “mark” on the world to be, the former Secretary of State replied, “That I did the best I could. That I lived a life of integrity and service.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lawrence also made this year’s Top 10 list, along with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Pope Francis, the Royal Baby, the cast of “Duck Dynasty,” Edward Snowden, Robin Roberts and swimmer Diane Nyad.

Last year, Walters chose General David Petraeus for the top spot.

This marks the final year of Walters’ special, as she is set to retire next spring.

What do you think of Clinton being named the “most fascinating person” of 2013?
