Jennifer Aniston opens up about her famous hair, watching “Friends,” and getting through her “awkward” 30s in a new interview with Parade.

The actress is asked about her upcoming 45th birthday and what she knows now that she didn’t at 25.

Aniston responds, “That there’s nothing to worry about — although I don’t think I had a care in the world at 25, either. That all started in my 30s, my awkward phase. I’m a little bit of a late bloomer!”

“But it doesn’t matter to me because it just gets better,” she adds. “They do say youth is wasted on the young, but I feel just as youthful now — if not more — than I did when I was 25. I’m more in my body; I’m more in my mind. Life is full. Life is wonderful. We’re very, very fortunate.”

When does she feel most beautiful?

“I feel most beautiful when I’m just at home with [fiance] Justin Theroux in the morning. Or any time of day I’m with him,” answers Aniston.

The actress’ various hairstyles have been much-discussed, but is there anyone whose locks she wishes she had?

Aniston says, “I think Giselle [Bundchen] has exquisite hair. That’s a pretty envious head of hair! And I love Kate Moss. She always has great hair.”

The star, who has a new short bob, is asked to name her favorite ‘do.

“Well, that’s a good question because I just chopped it all off! I’m loving it right now,” she says. “It’s right below my ear. I went short! But I do that every couple of years. It’s just nice to do something different.”

That said, Aniston says, “I’m a lover of long hair. I just think it’s beautiful. I would have to say that’s my go-to fave.”

As for the rumors that swirl around her, Aniston wants her fans to know that everything is good.

“My life is so fantastic. I’m so happy. There are a lot of exciting things that I’m excited about doing,” she says, adding, “I’m just so happy and I’m grateful for my fans. I just hope I keep doing work that they love.”

Parade asks she’ll still watch an episode of “Friends” if she flips by the sitcom that launched her to stardom.

“I actually will always stop and watch, not for the whole thing, but usually because I’ve forgotten a lot of the episodes,” says Aniston. “It’s sort of fun for a second, I’m like, what’s this one? And sometimes it comes back to me. I always know what year it was by what length my hair was or what color.”
