Jennifer Lopez’s interview with Washington D.C.’s Hot 99.5 turned extra-exciting on Wednesday when the singer’s chat was interrupted by a surprise phone call.
On the other end, an unidentified person delivered the good news that Lopez had scored a long-wanted movie role.
The former “American Idol” judge was unable to hide her joy, and even admitted the news was making her “teary.”
After the call, Lopez declined to reveal specific details about the project, but confessed that “a lot of people wanted” the role.
“For a little actress like me, that’s always a big deal,” she said of winning the part.
