Whenever In Touch has some extra space to fill, the tabloid tries to create a new Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie controversy.

This week, their different approaches to parenting are supposedly causing trouble.

The couple’s six children “were as happy as can be” during awards season, writes In Touch, because, as a “family friend” explains, “They love being home. They all have their own rooms, and they get to see the few friends they have.”

So… what’s the problem?

Well, according to In Touch, while Pitt wants the kids to “experience the simple joys of growing up in one house in an American neighborhood,” Jolie allegedly “just doesn’t agree” and insists that they “see the world outside of Hollywood.”

“They always fight about it, but Brad hasn’t given up on giving them a stable home,” says the so-called “friend.”

Uh-huh.

Well, considering the same tabloid wrongly claimed that Jolie set out to take vengeance on Pitt and their children by staging a horrible wedding, while also portraying son Pax as an “out of control” bully, it’s no surprise In Touch is continuing to churn out bogus stories of family dysfunction.

The notion that Jolie is destabilizing her kids’ home life by occasionally bringing them along while she works is absurd.

If the children always stayed behind while Jolie and Pitt traveled, In Touch would be slamming Jolie for abandoning them.

There’s no way they can win with the tabs.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop there’s been no fighting about how and where the kids grow up, stressing that Pitt and Jolie work hard to keep things stable in California while also giving the children the chance to see the world.

And, as the In Touch article itself says: They’re “happy.”
