She may be cooking for one, but Katy Perry takes her kitchen skills seriously.
At the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party at The City of West Hollywood Park in Beverly Hills Sunday, the 27-year-old singer got in a bidding war with movie producer Steve Tisch.
"Neil Patrick Harris was beat boxing while chef Cat Cora and David Burka sang [Snoop Dogg's] 'Drop It Like It's Hot' to sell a cooking experience during the auction," an attendee tells Us Weekly. Perry stood up and waved a bid of $50,000, with Tisch eventually offering to fork over $80,000.
"Katy emptied her purse out jokingly for the cameras before she and Steve agreed to share the prize for $100,000," the attendee adds. "Katy got up and hugged him delightedly. She seemed a bit tipsy, but not messy at all."
The star-studded soiree was full of A-list couples, including Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, John and David Furnish, Ashley Tisdale and Martin Johnson, Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen, and Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler.
