Bobby Brown performed a concert with New Edition in Mississippi just hours after learning that his ex-wife Whitney Houston had died.
The couple, married for 15 years, has a daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
During the show, an emotional Brown told the crowd, “First and foremost, I want to tell you that I love you all for being here.”
He then said, “I love you, Whitney,” pointing skyward as the crowd cheered.
