It was an “American Idol” first on Thursday, when one contestant auditioned while her sister was planking on the floor in front of her.
That’s right – planking.
Samantha Novacek, who perhaps ironically was singing former “Idol” winner Carrie Underwood’s “Flat On The Floor,” belted it out while sibling Patty was spread out, well, flat on the floor.
Both the judges and viewer seemed bemused – “Patty the Pittsburgh Planker” started trending on Twitter and Randy Jackson said he liked 19-year-old Samantha’s “vibe.”
