Is Justin Bieber going to host “Saturday Night Live”?

While absolutely nothing has been confirmed, the news was possibly leaked by 16-time host Alec Baldwin during an interview he conducted with “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels for his Here’s The Thing podcast.

Reading off Michaels’ bulletin board of the season’s hosts, Baldwin says, “The biggest names in the business are coming here [to host]. You have Ben Stiller and Melissa McCarthy, [who] won the Emmy Award… and Katy Perry‘s coming and Jimmy FallonJonah Hill, and I don’t want to ruin any other names, [but] Bieber’s confirmed, and he’s the music and the [host].”

Gossip Cop has reached out to NBC for confirmation.

Bieber has never hosted, although he did serve as the musical guest for Tina Fey’s 2010 hosting turn.

The next two “SNL” broadcasts will be hosted by Zooey Deschanel (February 4) and Channing Tatum (February 11).
