CLAIM: Russell Brand “Attacking” Katy Perry and Moving In With New Girlfriend

Truth rating: 1

According to Us Weekly, Russell Brand has moved on from Katy Perry and is “trashing her to his conquests.”

A so-called “insider” claims the comedian has been “attacking” his ex-wife in emails and texts, and that “Katy’s concerned about him leaking stories for financial gain.”

That charge echoes the debunked cover story for the magazine last week, which wrongly claimed that Brand was preparing a “shocking tell-all” about his marriage.

Meanwhile, Us Weekly can’t seem to settle on whether Brand is flirting up a storm with many women or ready to settle down with one particular new “conquest.”

The publication’s “source” says Brand wants to “explore a relationship” with the unnamed woman and “told her he wanted her to move in with him after the divorce is final.”

If the report sounds rather dubious, it’s because, as a source close to Brand tells Gossip Cop, “None of this is true.”

Of course, both Brand and Perry will be “moving on” as time passes.

But Brand is not about to move in with anyone, and Us Weekly’s recurring assertions that he’s trashing Perry every chance he gets are not the case, either.
