“It’s the ultimate fashion show faux pas,” chides the Daily Mail, “answering your mobile phone while seated on the front row.”
The British tab continues, “But we think Giorgio Armani probably forgave his star guest Jessica Chastain when she interrupted his Paris fashion show to find out about her Oscar nomination.”
Wait, what?!
According to the Mail, Chastain “had been watching models sashay down the catwalk for the Armani Prive haute couture presentation when her cellphone started ringing.”
When she answered, the actress found out she received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in The Help.

“But given the nature of the call there were no hard feelings from the fashion pack and she received a round of applause from the room,” the paper reports.
So, the entire Armani fashion show stopped when Chastain got the exciting news?
Not exactly.
As a rep for the star tells Gossip Cop, the show hadn’t even begun yet when Chastain’s cell rang.
The exciting moment “was actually 10 minutes before the show started,” the rep explains, “when people were still being sat.”
It looks like the mistake belongs to the Daily Mail, not Chastain.
