The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” mid-season finale aired on Sunday, with plenty of trademark Kardashian drama and humor.
Khloe Kardashian struggled with memory loss, Kris Jenner became concerned when daughter Kendall opted to spend more time with the Jenner side of the family, and Kourtney Kardashian hilariously mocked her mom’s sex tape (see photo right).
Khloe’s memory issues came to a head during a conversation with Kris and Kourtney, where the pair pointed out how she never seems to remember things they’ve done together.
“You have no memory of your childhood. It’s bizarre,” Kris told her, with Kourtney agreeing.
Khloe initially tried to brush them off, before declaring, “Now if you want me to be worried, you succeeded, because now I think there’s something wrong with me.”
She suspected that the problem might be tied to a car accident she was in at age 16 in 2001, when she was left with a concussion and migraines after going through the windshield.
“It’s really irritating and frustrating and kind of sad,” Khloe later admitted, worrying that she’s destined to forget even her most recent memories.
When a look through old photo albums and a visit to her former school didn’t help jog any memories, Khloe went to a neurologist, who suspected a hypnotherapist might help her recall some memories.

At her appointment, Khloe explained that she’s missing gaps in time, and the therapist said her help would bring out her “subconscious” thoughts.
Seemingly under hypnosis, Khloe recalled her dad working on the O.J. Simpson case, which caused a rift with her mom (who was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson) and prevented her from seeing her father.
“I was too young to understand why someone would be accused of doing that,” Khloe said, beginning to realize that the issue soured her relationship with her dad, who later passed away after a short cancer battle.
The trauma in turn caused Khloe to pull away from her family, and essentially go off the grid for a while.
“They reminded me too much of my dad,” she confessed.
The hypnotherapist concluded, “There’s this part of you that chooses not to be present. So when you’re not present, you don’t remember.”
Khloe was advised to focus on being at “ease” and in “peace.”
Kris was put off when Kendall started spending more time with half-brother Brandon and his wife Leah, and wanted to embrace more of their lifestyle — including getting their rugged pick-up truck to drive around in.
“I think you’re going through a phase. You’ll get past it in a couple of days,” Kris told Kendall.
Kendall later found herself embarrassed by her mom during a shopping trip, and admitted to the camera, “Sometimes it’s a little hard to be around my mom and my sisters.”
“I feel like we are interested in different things and we have different tastes,” she lamented, with the car issue seemingly proving her point.
Kendall decided to spend some “drama-free” time with half-brother Brody, avoiding Kris’ repeated phone calls.
Kris later called her out for standing her up, telling her, “I didn’t raise you like this.”

“It’s really hurting my feelings,” Kris went on to tell Kendall, confessing, “Sometimes I feel like this side of the family isn’t good enough, and you’ve been hanging out more and more with the Jenner side.”
Kendall tried to insist she was just growing up, explaining, “I just realize that I really like hanging out with them.”
Kris decided that Kendall being so different from her sisters and many of friends made her an “amazing inspiration.”
“You are so mature for your age, and you really show me you can handle a lot of responsibility,” she told her daughter.
During a family dinner, Kris revealed that she and husband Bruce once shot a sex tape, a home movie he first swore had long been-deleted… but admittedly wasn’t sure.
“This was like 20 years ago, so don’t hold it against us,” Kris insisted.
A “baffled” Scott Disick, miffed that Bruce has always seemed critical of everyone’s sex lives, decided to lead a search for the mystery footage.
“We’re going to use it for blackmail,” he declared.
The plan was thwarted when Kris came home, but Kourtney came up with a different one: re-creating the XXX movie themselves!
“This sex tape will be so amazing,” she declared as she and Scott started planning how best to impersonate Kris and Bruce.
The pair enlisted Khloe and Rob’s help, along with an actual stylist, who transformed them into an uncannily similar version of Kourtney’s mom and stepdad.
“I don’t know what’s weirder: the fact that Kourtney looks just like her mother,” said Scott, “or the fact that I have to sleep with her.”
After a successful shoot and some editing, Kourtney and Scott surprised the family by playing their movie, entitled “Backdoor Bruiser.”
With Kris not there, however, Bruce didn’t realize this wasn’t their actual sex tape — leading him to storm off.
“It’s unreal. Bruce one thousand percent thinks that’s him!” Scott exclaimed to the camera.
Kourtney quickly explained that it was a joke, and Bruce actually found himself impressed that they put it together!
“That’s great,” he said, quipping, “Those were the good ‘ol days.”
Kourtney and Scott explained the idea was borne out of Bruce constantly passing judgment on their behavior, prompting him to reconsider his own past.
“In a 10-year period, I had 6 children with three different women. Oops,” he told the camera. “Guess I’m not one to talk.”
