Mark Wahlberg opens up about an old feud with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor reveals that DiCaprio was furious about the possibility of Wahlberg appearing with him in the 1995 movie The Basketball Diaries.

“Leonardo was like, ‘Over my dead f—ing body. Marky Mark’s not going to be in this f—ing movie,’” recalls Wahlberg. “Because we’d had a thing — I didn’t even realize it, [but] I was a bit of a d*ck to him at a charity basketball game. So he was like, ‘This f—ing a**hole is not going to be in this movie.’”

But the pair found peace after DiCaprio agreed to do a reading with him.

Wahlberg tells the magazine, “So I come in and I do the audition and I kind of look at him and he kind of looks at me, and then we do a scene, and they’re like, ‘Hmm, this f—ing dude’s pretty good, right?’”

“The next thing you know, boom, we’re hanging out,” he says.

A true Hollywood ending.

Martin Scorsese Did NOT “Blast” Leonardo DiCaprio For Partying Too Much

“Legendary director Martin Scorsese blasted his Wolf of Wall Street star Leonardo DiCaprio, telling the hunk to quit behaving like an immature party boy or he can kiss his Oscar dreams goodbye!” reports the National Enquirer.

According to the tabloid, “The two had the tough-love talk after Leonardo complained to Scorsese about George Clooney criticizing the actor for hanging out with a trash-talking crowd.”

“Martin told Leo he’s as gifted a performer as he’s ever worked with, but at his age he should have won two Oscars by now,” a so-called “source” tells the Enquirer.

The tab’s insider says Scorsese allegedly “told Leo he should get serious about his life and stop hanging out with hoodlums, trying to bed every girl who catches his eye and going out partying all the time.”

Uh-huh.

Well, the Enquirer once fabricated tension between DiCaprio and Quentin Tarantino, and seems to have a pretty loose grasp on what’s actually happening in the actor’s personal life.

So it’s not a complete surprise that this story wound up being bogus, too.

A rep for Scorsese calls the Enquirer report “hogwash.”

Leonardo DiCaprio Did NOT Hook Up With Woman at Art Basel, Despite Report

Leonardo DiCaprio did NOT hook up with a mystery woman in Miami on Thursday night, despite a inaccurate report from the New York Daily News.

The paper, which has been wrong about the star’s personal life in the past, claims DiCaprio was seen “lip-locking a brunette beauty who wasn’t his 21-year-old girlfriend Toni Garrn” at an Art Basel after-party.

According to a supposed spy for the tabloid, “One beautiful super-young brunette launched into him, hugging him with both arms, and gave him a passionate French kiss with tongue!”

Really?

Not at all.

Here’s what really happened.

A close DiCaprio source tells Gossip Cop, “Leo’s good friend’s girlfriend kissed him on the cheek because he bought a piece of art from her boyfriend.”

Our insider adds that DiCaprio’s buddy (the art dealer) was there “at the table” with his girlfriend — the whole time — when she thanked the actor for his purchase by giving him a peck.
