Joel Madden Kicked From Hotel for Weed

Joel Madden was reportedly kicked out of his hotel in Australia after marijuana was discovered in his room on Sunday.

The Good Charlotte rocker, who serves as a judge on the country’s version of “The Voice,” is not expected to be charged with any crime.

According to a local reports, a cleaner in Madden’s room at the Darling Hotel near Sydney found a small quantity of a suspicious substance, and police were summoned.

Cops executed a search warrant, finding what was believed to be less than five grams of cannabis.

The amount was too small to trigger prosecution, but the hotel reportedly asked Madden to leave the premises immediately.

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie didn’t have your typical Hollywood courtship.

In fact, the Good Charlotte rocker says he had to beg his now-wife to go on a date with him.

Madden told Australia’s “60 Minutes,” “When I first would see her around, we were friends,” adding, “But I don’t think I’m the obvious choice. I’m always like, ‘Just give me a shot. Just give me one date.’ If I can get my foot in the door…”

He explained, “I’m not for every woman, you know. Because a lot of women — I mean, obviously, your first thing is, ‘What do you want your guy to look like?’ And I’m not the tall, dark, handsome guy.”

“But I think once you get to know me [you like me] — like how I got Nicole,” offered Madden.

Madden is currently a judge on the Australian version of “The Voice.”

Nicole Richie’s 5-Year-Old Daughter Harlow Set to Become “Child Star”?

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s daughter Harlow is “ready for her close-up,” announces Star, which claims the five-year-old “wants to follow in her parents’ footsteps and become a star.”

Um… she’s five. She doesn’t even know what that means.

Anyway, the mag notes that the little girl is “just like her charismatic mother,” quoting a so-called “friend” as saying, “When Nicole was a kid, she was always performing. Harlow is a mini version of her mom.”

Star goes on to allege that Richie is “open to the idea of Harlow being a child star,” but Madden is “more protective.”

The purported “pal” offers, “Nicole grew up with Hollywood royalty, so she is talking to friends about getting Harlow modeling gigs,” adding, “But Joel has his concerns.”

Gossip Cop also has concerns… about this story.

No one who is actually friends with a celebrity uses the term “Hollywood royalty” — only tabloids do that.

So, we checked in with a source close to Richie, who tells us the mag’s report is “completely false.”
