HollywoodLife Makes Up Story About Taylor Swift Being “Mad” At Selena Gomez

Taylor Swift is “mad” at Selena Gomez for riding a Segway scooter with Justin Bieber, says HollywoodLife, an outlet that makes up stuff about the three stars with embarrassing frequency.

Jay Penske’s blog — which spent much of 2013 making up stories involving Bieber, Gomez and Swift — starts 2014 in fine form, making up a story that has Swift allegedly angry with Gomez for hanging out with Bieber.

According to HollywoodLife, Gomez “broke unofficial best friend law” with her outing, because HollywoodLife is governed by the laws of middle school, not journalism.

A so-called “insider” tells the webloid “exclusively” that Swift “does not support the reunion.”

Which is weird, because in the same story, HollywoodLife reports as if Swift doesn’t even know about the reunion yet.

“Once Taylor finds out that Selena is hanging out with Justin she will be very mad,” the source tells HollywoodLife. “This is exactly what Selena has told Taylor all along that she would not do, and now that she has, [it] will show Taylor that she can’t trust Selena.”

The outlet writes, “Sounds like there may be trouble in paradise if Jelena continue to hang out. But we sure hope not — Selena still having feelings for Justin doesn’t mean she can’t love Taylor with all her heart!”

This is the type of speculative b.s. “reporting” we’ve come to expect from HollywoodLife, which makes up stuff.

HollywoodLife spread the lie that Miley Cyrus is pregnant.

HollywoodLife twisted Jennifer Lawrence’s words to score a cheap fake story.

HollywoodLife manipulated a tweet for a bogus Liam Hemsworth report.

HollywoodLife lied about Cory Monteith after his death.

HollywoodLife makes up stuff about Taylor Swift, it makes up stuff about Justin Bieber, and it makes up stuff about Selena Gomez.

Over and over again, HollywoodLife makes up stuff.

Gossip Cop spoke with a source close to the situation and asked whether Swift was actually upset about Bieber and Gomez riding Segway scooters together — and the source laughed it off, saying, “Not at all.”

Please keep this in mind the next time HollywoodLife makes up something.

“Kris Jenner Creating Newly Single Khloe Kardashian Reality Show,” screams the headline of a new HollywoodLife piece.

According to the webloid, just days after Karadashian filed for a divorce from Lamar Odom, “Jenner is already planning to capitalize on the dramatic split.”

And the blog believes — not that anyone cares — that a dating reality show is “just what the newly single star needs to help her recover from her highly publicized, disastrous relationship.”

HollywoodLies, er, HollywoodLife says the show, tentatively titled, “Single and Searching for Love,” could be “the next hit Kardashian reality show, if Kris gets her way.”

The webloid then throws in a made up and unnatural sounding quote from a “friend of the Kardashian family” who says, “Kris is going to turn Khloe’s marital misfortunes into a huge profit. She wants to produce a reality based on Khloe’s new life as a single woman searching for love.”

Enough. Enough. Enough.

Shocking as it may seems, this HollywoodLife story is 100 percent wrong.

A source close to Kardashian tells Gossip Cop that the webloid’s latest tale is “not true.”

“Khloe Kardashian & Matt Kemp ‘Hooking Up’ & ‘Could Become More’” blares a HollywoodLife “exclusive.”

The webloid, which doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to the Kardashians, squeals, “A source not only confirms to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Khloe and Matt have been hooking up, but the insider also says that the two are totally open to the fling blossoming into a full-on relationship.”

“They are hooking up and are slowly becoming a couple,” a so-called “source” tells the outlet.

HollywoodLife explains, “But this doesn’t sound like any old fling — signs may actually be pointing to something more long-lasting.”

“They are currently having fun and seeing what happens,” add the webloid’s bogus “source.”

HollywoodLife opines, “If we had to guess, we’d say this fling has the potential to become very serious, very soon — that’s just the way Khloe works.”

Yes, because accurate journalism is all about “guessing.”

Anyway, in the real world, Kardashian has NOT “already locked down another Los Angeles athlete,” despite HollywoodLies, er HollywoodLife’s drivel.

A rock-solid source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that it’s “absolutely NOT true” Kardashian and Kemp are “hooking up.”

“Just friends!” insists our insider.

HollywoodLife strikes out again.
