Evan Rachel Wood SLAMMED the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) on Wednesday, blasting the organization for censoring women’s sexuality in her new movie Charlie Countryman.

The actress was furious after seeing a new cut of the film in which a sex scene was allegedly altered to downplay the woman’s enjoyment.

Wood wrote, “After seeing the new cut of #CharlieCountryman I would like 2 share my disappointment with the MPAA, who thought it was necessary to censor a womans sexuality once again.”

“The scene where the two main characters make ‘love’ was altered because someone felt that seeing a man give a woman oral sex made people ‘uncomfortable’ but the scenes in which people are murdered by having their heads blown off remained intact and unaltered,” complained the star.

She continued:

“This is a symptom of a society that wants to shame women and put them down for enjoying sex, especially when (gasp) the man isn’t getting off as well! Its hard for me to believe that had the roles been reversed it still would have been cut OR had the female character been raped it would have been cut. Its time for people to GROW UP. Accept that woman are sexual beings Accept that some men like pleasuring woman. Accept that woman don’t have to just be f**ked and say thank you. We are allowed and entitled to enjoy ourselves. Its time we put our foot down. Thanks for listening.”

Evan Rachel Wood is the latest star coming to the defense of Justin Bieber in the wake of the teenager’s new wave of bad publicity.

Asked about Bieber in an interview with The Daily Beast, the Charlie Countryman star shares, “I can’t imagine what it’s like to be him. When you’re a teenager in an adult career, people expect you to be perfect and expect you to never make mistakes or to be a reckless teenager.”

Wood offers, “And then when you are [reckless], they give you such a really hard time for it. You have to remind them that you’re still a kid.”

The star goes on to say, “Like, do people remember when they were that age? On this global level, people freak out. They like to be high and mighty and say, ‘Oh, look at that person. I’ve never done anything like that.’ But yes you have. Everyone’s been a crazy kid.”

Wood, who began her career at age nine, tells the site she faced similar criticism in her younger years.

“I was never a Bieber or a Cyrus, but I think the judgment was there, sure,” reveals the actress.
