Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger are married!
The music stars tied the knot in the South of France on Monday, it was confirmed.
A number of outlets had mistakenly reported that the couple wed on Saturday.
Kroeger proposed to Lavigne last August with a reported 14-karat diamond ring.
The couple began dating in 2012 after Kroeger started helping Lavigne with her album.
It is the second marriage for Lavigne, who was previously wed to Sum 41′s Deryck Whibley.
