Josh Duhamel Calls RadarOnline Story About Trying to Break Up Fergie and Black Eyed Peas “Bullsh*t”

Josh Duhamel is slamming RadarOnline for claiming he’s trying to convince Fergie to “break” away from the Black Eyed Peas.

On Tuesday the webloid posted a story with the headline “will.i.am.NOT! Josh Duhamel Urges Wife Fergie To Distance Herself From Peas’ Bandmate & Build Better Solo Career.”

“Josh is pushing hard for Fergie to make a much cleaner and clearer break from The Black-Eyed Peas so she can re-invent herself as a solo artist without the looming specter of will.i.am influencing every creative decision she makes,” a so-called “source” told RadarOnline.

The site’s supposed source went on, “Josh is her biggest fan and he’s getting a lot more assertive and interested in Fergie’s business. He wants to drive a more permanent wedge between her and Will.”

And, according to the outlet’s tipster, Fergie supposedly agreed with Duhamel’s perspective.

“She says she doesn’t need Will and the only way to shine is to eliminate him from the picture,” the “source” told RadarOnline.

But Duhamel himself has taken to Facebook to rip the publication’s less-than-accurate “reporting.”

“Don’t believe this bullsh*t. Not true,” wrote the actor.

Of course this isn’t the first time RadarOnline has been wrong about Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas.

The webloid claimed way back in 2010 that the singer was leaving the band.

Will.i.am. Slams Perez Hilton For Claiming Black Eyed Peas “Replacing” Fergie

Will.i.am is calling out Perez Hilton for his careless “reporting.”

The notoriously bad blogger claimed to have an “exclusive” that the Black Eyed Peas will “replace” Fergie, who is currently expecting her first child.

Citing “a source VERY close to the situation,” Perez said “the funk-tastic band has secretly been auditioning aspiring female leads for the group.”

“Since The Duchess has made it common knowledge that she plans to take the next few years to herself — for parenting and another solo album — the band agreed it was time to move on,” alleged Perez.

“It should definitely be noted that this is a temporary arrangement,” he went on to claim, ”as Fergie will be welcomed back with open arms whenever she chooses to return.”

Stepping in it further, Perez then wrote, “For the time being, however, the boys just simply cannot wait to make new music. They’ve gotta let their muses guide them, and they need/want a lucky new lady to fuse talents with.”

“No time-frame on when we can expect them to debut their new gal, but whoever she is — she’s got BIG shoes to fill… good luck!!” concluded the blogger.

Well, Perez might be waiting a long, long time for his “exclusive” to come true.

Will.i.am slammed the blogger’s clueless “reporting” on Twitter on Thursday night, writing that “the rumors on @fergie being replaced are so false.”

The musician added that Perez “is the furthest from the truth,” and noted, ”#BEP4ever #fergieROCKS…#family.”
