Taylor Swift has reportedly joined The Voice as the universal adviser for season 6.

The "Shake It Off" singer will help all four coaches — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams — as they strategize with their remaining teammates for the second round of battles. The round pits singers from the same team against each other in sudden-death duets.

The role, introduced last season along with the rebooted battle round, is still relatively new to the series, as Coldplay's Chris Martin stepped in to equally mentor singers from all teams for the first time in the show's run. Us Weekly first reported the news of Swift's turn.

Swift — whose fifth studio album 1989 drops Oct. 27, close to her Voice episodes' air date — joins an already star-studded season. Along with new coaches Stefani and Williams, the upcoming run will feature guest mentors Stevie Nicks with Levine, Gavin Rossdale with wife Stefani, Little Big Town with Shelton and Alicia Keys with Williams. The four acts will share their expertise in the rehearsal room during the first battle round.

NBC did not immediately respond to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment.

The Voice returns to NBC on Sept. 22.
