New ‘Bachelor’ Revealed – ARTICLE

There's a new "Bachelor" in town!

Chris Soules, known by fans from Andi Dorfman's season of "The Bachelorette" as "Farmer Chris," was officially announced on "Good Morning America" as the next guy who will hand out the coveted roses to women competing for his love.

"I mean, coming from a small town I never really expected to have this opportunity to be on either show let alone to be the lead on 'The Bachelor,' so it's been awesome," he said on Wednesday's "GMA." "I'm humbled, flattered, grateful."

Chris, 32, might have fallen for Andi on last season's "Bachelorette," but he explained that he's ready to find love once again.

"Absolutely, that's why I am doing it. I believe in the process, I believe in what I went through on the previous show and that's why I am doing it. I wouldn't do it if I didn't feel like [I was ready,]" he said.

Adding, "I am going to do my best and think I'll do well…I 'm looking forward to it."
