Mike Judge Says ‘King of the Hill’ Was Saved by Its Slow Pace

What' the secret to a show making it to 200-plus episodes? Taking things as slow as a Texas drawl.

 King of the Hill's Mike Judge jokes the Texas-based show's more deliberate pace contrasted the Simpsons swifter speed.

"It was slow to get canceled, also," Judge says, sitting next to The Simpsons producer Al Jean.

He made his comments during a Hollywood Reporter photoshoot that gathered 24 legendary TV producers for one unforgettable class picture.
