Sarah Jessica Parker gives a tour of her West Village brownstone to Vogue Diaries.
If you're picturing a sterile, contemporary apartment a la Carrie and Big in Sex and the City, stop right there. Instead, Parker's abode is lived-in, cozy, and a touch bohemian. The living room features wall-to-wall bookshelves, an emerald green velvet sofa, and globe lamps (aka her favorite thing in the room). As the tour and questions continue, the SJP Collection shoe designer heads into an adjoining living room that has walls full of artwork (both hanging and leaned against the wall), a piano, and a ping-pong table (of course).
