“With her sassy style and international fame, Suri Cruise has become the most popular child on the A-list,” begins a preposterous piece from Star, which claims it has “uncovered a slew of celebrity kids who are begging for a playdate” with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter.
The mag reports that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s seven-year-old son Kingston has been “itching to hang out with Suri,” quoting a supposed Holmes “pal” as saying, “Katie thinks it’s hilarious that Suri gets more invitations than she does!”
Uh-huh.
Star goes on to allege that Heidi Klum’s nine-year-old daughter Leni and Michelle Williams’ daughter Matilda are also clambering to be friends with Suri.
Leni “would love to swap fashion tips with Suri,” says the tabloid, with the purported “insider” noting, “Next time they’re in L.A., Katie is hoping to make some dates happen.”
Meanwhile, the rag says Matilda Ledger is supposedly “No. 1 on Suri’s calendar.”
Stop.
These are children.
They most likely do not even know that one another exists.
As entertaining as the magazine’s little tale is, it’s totally fabricated.
A Holmes insider tells Gossip Cop the tab’s playdate story is completely “not true.”
