With Nielsen only able to measure usage of homes able to watch TV, fast affiliate ratings actually have viewership among adults 18-49 up one percent from last Monday -- despite widespread power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy and a preemptive strike from some of the networks to pad the night with encores in lieu of originals.
Most broadcasts, originals or encores, were interrupted by storm coverage updates, so numbers remain approximate.

The networks who did go ahead with originals, NBC and ABC, topped the night -- with The Voice again out in front. The show was up 16 percent from last Monday's one-hour episode to a 5.0 rating with adults 18-49. Revolution, which followed at 10 p.m., was down six percent from its last original to a 3.1 adults rating. NBC averaged a 4.4 rating with 18-49-ers and 11.4 million viewers.
Dancing With the Stars, which was again two-hours after last week's abbreviated episode, was up 13 percent to a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49. At 10 p.m., Castle brought in a 2.7 rating, surging 35 percent from its last original. The network topped among viewers with 2.7 million and averaged a 13.8 adult rating.

A last-minute programming adjustment swapped originals of How I Met Your Mother, Partners, 2 Broke Girls and Mike & Molly for encores. The comedy block led into a special one-hour Sandy-focused broadcast CBS News, which earned a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49. The network averaged a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.2 million viewers.
Fox aired an already scheduled encore of The X Factor, which brought in a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers.
The CW joined CBS in encore preemptions, airing last week's episodes of 90210 and Gossip Girl to a 0.4 adults rating and 826,000 million viewers.
