“‘The X Factor’ may have been a good career move for Britney Spears, but it looks like her massive paycheck is creating problems in her personal life,” begins a piece from RadarOnline, which claims the singer’s gig is causing tension between her and fiancé Jason Trawick.
According to a so-called “insider” for the webloid, “Their relationship has been majorly rocky ever since she started filming ‘The X Factor.’”
“They are constantly fighting about everything, and it isn’t good,” adds the supposed source.
One of the couple’s supposed points of tension is that Trawick “is less than pleased that he has gone from being a big time Hollywood agent to Britney’s full-time babysitter,” alleges another purported insider.
This “source” explains, “When Jason left his job at William Morris Endeavor in May 2011, it was under the impression that he was going to be managing Britney’s career, but that hasn’t happened.”
But now that he’s Spears’ co-conservator, says the “insider,” he supposedly “feels like he is the househusband and errand boy in the relationship, and that isn’t what he signed up for.”
“Part of his role as co-conservator is to be with Britney every second that she is on the set of ‘The X Factor,’ and he is getting fed up with it,” notes the webloid’s source.
Hmm.
Let’s take a moment to examine the conflicting jumble of thoughts that is RadarOnline’s story.
The blog first claims Trawick left WME to manage Spears’ career.
That is 100% FALSE.
Trawick was Spears’ agent before he left the agency to join a start-up company called Famos.
Next, the webloid alleges that Trawick is unhappy about his position as Spears’ co-conservator.
That also makes ZERO sense.
Trawick went through a lot of steps to become Spears’ conservator — why would he have done so if he didn’t want the responsibility?
We could go on even more about the numerous inaccuracies in RadarOnline’s “report,” but we’ll save ourselves the trouble.
In any case, a friend of the couple tells us that Spears and Trawick “are very happy together and doing just fine.”
Our insider adds, “Jason never intended on being her manager. One of his best friends is her manager, Larry Rudolph.”
