Tommy Marth, Saxophonist for The Killers, Commits Suicide at 33

Tommy Marth, who played saxophone for and toured with The Killers, has committed suicide.

He was 33.

The musician was found dead at his home in Las Vegas on Monday.

A message on The Killers official Twitter account reads, “Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.”

Marth contributed to two Killers albums (“Sam’s Town” and “Day & Age”) and toured with the band in 2008 and 2009.
