Viewers saw Giuliana Rancic get the devastating news she had breast cancer on the April 3 premiere of Giuliana & Bill and now the E! News hostess is taking cameras along as she considers both lumpectomy and mastectomy surgeries.
Spooked by the "radical" nature of a double mastectomy, which would completely eradicate her cancer, Giuliana works with her husband Bill to develop a list of the pros and cons for each procedure. "When you look at something on paper, it's often times a lot different then the way you play it out in your mind," says Bill comfortingly in a preview from next week's episode.

The first major plus for undergoing a mastectomy? "If you do this, you're not looking over your shoulder, so you have to give it a point for quality of life," says Bill, 40.
Agrees Giuliana, 37: "You can't put a price on piece of mind."

When it comes to a possible lumpectomy, Giuliana appreciates the fact that she can keep her breasts intact, but Bill isn't receptive to her reasoning. "That shouldn't even be part of the equation," he says. Shoots back his wife: "Speak for your own boobs!"
Deciding to undergo a double mastectomy in December 2011 was, as the clip shows, not a decision Giuliana made lightly, but she appreciated the fact that her husband of five years was there every step of the way.

"A lot of women think about what their spouse is going to think after such a big surgery," she says in the clip above. "Deep down, I knew Bill would say he loved me either way, even if my physical appearance is different, but it's nice to hear him say it. That makes me feel a lot better about the whole process and making this major decision."
Watch as the couple consider their next steps after Giuliana's diagnosis in the clip above before Giuliana & Bill airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. (EST) on Style.
