George Clooney will host a $40,000-a-head fundraiser for President Obama at his home in May.
“I’m proud to do whatever I can to support the President,” the Oscar winner tells ET. “As long as no one asks me to sing.”
The event is expected to bring Obama and about 150 deep-pocketed supporters of his reelection campaign.
Proceeds will be given to the Obama Victory Fund.
Clooney, of course, is a well-known political activist, and was arrested last month in Washington, D.C. for protesting in front of Sudan’s embassy.
