RECAPSunday’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” saw not one competitor hear “You’re fired,” but two.
Donald Trump chose to do a double elimination after one team implodes in the boardroom.
The teams had to host both a presentation and a Q & A session highlighting the new Buick Verano, during which they’d be judged on informational content, brand messaging, and overall creativity.
A headstrong Adam Carolla, leading male Team Unanimous, immediately clashed with the remaining guys when he refused to entertain any ideas other than his own.
Plus, the initial decision not to include the expertise of former professional race car driver Michael Andretti threw some of the teammates for a loop.

Meanwhile, the women on Team Forte, with Debbie Gibson at the helm, found themselves juggling perhaps too many ideas.
Though the ladies eventually got their act together, Aubrey O’Day nearly risked all their progress when she called the Verano “Verona” twice during their presentation.
Still, the women won the challenge — and were spared.
After Carolla refused to offer up two competitors to potentially get the boot, Trump announced that all the men were fair game – and two would be eliminated.
So, who got fired?
Project manager Carolla and Andretti for not stepping up despite his background, and for his lackluster contribution to the presentation.
