One of the few pleasures in reading HollywoodLife is seeing how the webloid can top itself in absurdity.
Take, for instance, the site’s current fixation on photos of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in Paris — and the completely contradictory stories HollywoodLife manages to write about them in the span of just hours.
One early Thursday post ran the headline, “Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Leave Paris Together – Did He Propose?” and the accompanying item offers… absolutely nothing else.
Just a picture of the couple at the airport.
“We’re still wondering if he popped the question or if he will do it on her April 9 birthday!” exclaims HollywoodLife, not bothering to share why, exactly, there’s any reason to believe that Pattinson proposed to Stewart this week or has plans to do so next month.

By Thursday afternoon, the site posted a nearly identical picture of the couple in the airport under the headline, “Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: Trouble In Paradise?”
In that bit of underreported nonsense, HollywoodLife consults a “body language expert” to understand why Stewart and Pattinson were “looking less than happy” and “don’t look like a couple in love.”
What?!
Sorry… Gossip Cop just got whiplash going from today’s HollywoodLife post about Pattinson and Stewart possibly being engaged to today’s HollywoodLife post implying they’re on the outs.
As always, in reading about Pattinson and Stewart on HollywoodLife, we’ve learned nothing about the couple and everything about the webloid – namely, that the site has no clue and just throws random words against the wall throughout the day to see what sticks.
Who cares if nothing makes actual sense, right?
