Bobby Brown’s attorney is asking the public not to make a rush to judgement after the musician was arrested for DUI.
The New Edition singer was taken into custody on Monday after being stopped by police and failing a Breathalyzer test.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Brown’s blood alcohol content level was .12, much higher than the legal limit of .08.
Still, Brown’s lawyer Tiffany Feder says in a statement, “Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”

“Mr. Brown was not driving erratically. He was speaking on his cell phone,” Feder says.
She continues, “Mr. Brown has not been convicted of anything associated with this incident. Mr. Brown is taking this matter seriously and an investigation is underway”
“The legal process shall run its course,” Feder adds.
Brown’s arrest follows more than a decade of run-ins with the law, and comes just six weeks after the death of his late ex-wife Whitney Houston.
