Is Jessica Simpson’s wedding on hold?
OK! magazine claims Simpson “isn’t likely to become a bride any time soon” because she’s “put the brakes on her plans to wed” fiancé Eric Johnson.
“She loves him, but there are several issues that haven’t been resolved yet,” a so-called “insider” tells the tabloid.
Supposedly, Simpson “wanted a prenup, but Eric was upset at the idea of putting one in place,” explains the mag’s source. “So they spent months negotiating and bickering about it, which contributed in no small way to the wedding being delayed.”

We’ve seen rumors along these lines from OK! before – and they’re simply not true.
There was never a wedding date set for the couple, a source close to Simpson and Johnson tells Gossip Cop.
It’s very easy for tabloids to use the (very happy) pair’s lack of urgency about tying the knot – which has always been the case – to imply that there’s discord behind the scenes.
But as Gossip Cop has said since Simpson and Johnson became engaged, the couple is operating on their timetable, not the magazines’.
