Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green’s star-packed birthday bash in Mexico last weekend was more like an episode of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” than an upscale celebrity party, according to The Sun.
The tabloid claims Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Moss got into a vicious cat fight, complete with name-calling and food-throwing.
A so-called “source” for the paper recounts the supposed “bust-up,” explaining, “Gwyneth had gone for a jog on the beach before the big birthday bash. Kate was out for a walk, eating crisps [chips], when Gwyneth ran past.”
The paper’s source says Moss asked Paltrow, “What [are] you out jogging for?” and Paltrow fired back, “So I don’t look like you when I get old.”
Meow!
Moss then allegedly retaliated by throwing chips at the actress and screaming, “Why don’t you eat some f**king carbs!”
Adds the supposed source, ”The spat was the talk of the dinner. Everyone was having a giggle about it.”
OK, let’s do a quick recap here of the reported “bust-up.”
Paltrow was jogging on a beach in Mexico when she paused to call the notoriously thin Moss fat, and then the British supermodel responded by throwing potato chips at the Oscar winner.
This story is so ridiculously silly.
In any case, a rep for Paltrow tells Gossip Cop simply, “No such argument ever happened.”
The only “bust-up” that happened is the one Gossip Cop just did to The Sun.
