AnnaSophia Robb was recently cast as Carrie Bradshaw in the CW’s upcoming “Sex and the City” prequel series”The Carrie Diaries.”
Now the first official photo of Robb in character has been released.
“The Carrie Diaries” tells the story of a younger Bradshaw coming of age in 1980s Manhattan, and is based on the novel of the same name by Candace Bushnell.
Bradshaw, of course, was portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker in the “Sex and the City” series and movies.
To this point, Robb is most familiar to audiences for her work in films like Soul Surfer and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
