Angelina Jolie has finally addressed her Oscar night leg pose.
The actress-director’s decision to show her right leg on Hollywood’s biggest night was greeted with everything from instant mockery to pregnancy speculation to allegations of self-destruction.
So what does Jolie herself think about the infamous stance?
Not much.
“I honestly didn’t pay attention to it,” she tells The Huffington Post.
Jolie continues, “You know what I mean? I don’t watch those TV shows and if I go online and see something about myself, I don’t click on it. And the people I surround myself with don’t really talk about that kind of stuff.”
She explains, “It’s as simple as a being a woman picking a dress you like and having a night, and not really thinking about anything else.”
In other words, it seems like the most rational and reasoned response to Angelina Jolie comes from… Angelina Jolie.
We can’t wait for the National Enquirer or another tabloid to somehow twist Jolie’s words into an anti-Stacy Keibler statement.
