A huge weekend at the box office could come down to the wire, with Channing Tatum-Rachel McAdams romance The Vow and Ryan Reynolds-Denzel Washington thrill ride Safe House both tracking toward nearly $40 million.

Meanwhile, there’s a battle brewing for third place between Journey 2: Mysterious Island (starring Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens) and the re-release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3D form.

Both movies are projected to top $20 million.

After that, there’s a tight race for fifth place, as the inadvertent high school superheroes of Chronicle collide with Daniel Radcliffe’s Victorian horror The Woman In Black, tracking toward $11 million apiece.

The Top Ten wraps up with The Grey ($4.5 million), The Descendants ($3.5 million), Big Miracle ($3.5 million) and One For The Money ($2 million).

Gossip Cop will have updates.
