The Armstrongs’ abuse-filled marriage was documented on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” which re-edited several episodes after Russell killed himself last August.

Asked why she’s coming out with a book detailing “horrific allegations” about her marriage, Armstrong explains, “I got out way too late, and I’m hoping that by other people hearing my story, they might decide to get out sooner.”

She admits it was difficult.

“I loved him. I love him to this day, and I miss him terribly,” Armstrong says of Russell.

The “Housewives” star says she was “clearly breaking down” in her marriage’s last stages.

“I was trying to keep a lid on a boiling pot, trying to hide everything that was going on, while trying to be in front of the cameras,” explains Armstrong.

Taylor’s memoir, Hiding From Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within will be released Tuesday.
