The funk legend has turned to Internet fundraising site, IndieGoGo to save his studio and help him in his fight to regain the rights to his classic songs.

Parliament-Funkadelic's leader, figurehead, and spirit animal George Clinton has been in a long battle for the rights to his songs, and now you can help. In an effort to make the greatest funk collective in history (as opposed to all those other shitty funk collectives) self-sufficient and independent of record labels, Clinton is looking for help to save the group's dilapidated studio.
With this campaign we are looking to raise $50,000 for the restoration and preservation of original recordings, as well as urgent repairs and upgrades to the Parliament-Funkadelic family recording studio.-Tape Machine Repair
