Brian Downing was arrested for sexual battery and obscenity Thursday night after family members identified him in a viral video that shows the 32-year-old urinating and simulating sex acts on an unconscious sports fan.

The clip, filmed at a New Orleans bar after the BCS National Championship Game, shows Downing in a University of Alabama jacket as he sexually assaults the passed out victim, who was wearing a purple LSU shirt. (Alabama had won the BCS Championship, BTW.)

Former co-workers of Downing, who managed a sporting goods store but "no longer [works] here," said they "couldn't believe it" and, as one put it, the incident was an "awful awful drunken mistake, but damn ... what an asshole."
